Bonbori Wall

Bonbori Wall is a wall light designed for use indoors and outdoors. The model extends the first outdoor collection by Brokis and develops the concept of the original Bonbori light in a compact wall-mounted format.

The concept draws on traditional Japanese lanterns installed along paths to temples and shrines during seasonal festivals. The word “bonbori” in Japanese culture describes both a type of lantern and a soft, diffused glow reminiscent of light inside a snow cave. The light interprets this image through a voluminous glass shade and restrained housing geometry.

The collection includes two versions:
Bonbori Wall Up, with upward light
Bonbori Wall Down, with downward light

The housing is made from stainless steel with a powder coating resistant to atmospheric exposure
Available finishes: matte black, metallic copper, metallic grey

The shade is made from hand-blown glass
The glass uses a multilayer forming process, with every layer controlled by a master glassblower
Glass options: opaline, opal, transparent smoke brown and transparent smoke grey

The light source is an LED module designed to withstand sub-zero temperatures
Light passes through a diffuser and laser perforations in the metal housing to create a soft, diffused glow

The IP44 protection rating allows the light to be used in outdoor spaces
