H_O Desk by Poltrona Frau

The upper surface features a series of joints that demonstrate the craftsmanship of the horizontal slats. The H_O desk top consists of an MDF panel covered in Cuoio Re-Saddle leather in Tortora or Caffè colours. The metal leg is upholstered in saddle leather that matches the desk top and cabinet fronts. The H_O desk has a column made from Valcamonica porphyry or white porphyry on the opposite side of the leg. H_O President Desk and H_O Executive Desk are available in light and dark versions. The light version combines a white porphyry column in white and beige tones with Tortora Re-Saddle leather and Canaletto walnut. The dark version combines a Valcamonica porphyry column in brownish-red tones with Caffè Re-Saddle leather and Canaletto walnut. H_O desks can include a modest panel covered in matching leather. Re-Saddle leather is available in two colours with a plain finish or a hand-crafted square pattern. The square pattern creates a tone-on-tone grid with 16 x 16 cm squares. The H_O drawer unit can be positioned to the user's right or left, always on the same side as the column. The drawer unit has a poplar plywood frame with Canaletto walnut veneer and Re-Saddle leather fronts. The H_O drawer unit contains one drawer and either a document drawer or a compartment with a door. The joints on the side of the drawer unit demonstrate the craftsmanship of the horizontal slats. The surface near the column has an opening for electrical cables.
