O24 Freestanding Basin

O24 is a freestanding basin created by Gumdesign for antoniolupi. The design combines geometric form, contrasting materials and principles of sustainable design. The basin belongs to the Tra_Le_Righe collection, which brings together basins made with contrasting epoxy resin and marble segments. The collection complements the previously presented Gessati and Rigati models.
O24 consists of 24 wedge-shaped segments, hand-cut from white Carrara marble. Contrasting resin joins the segments and creates a distinctive graphic pattern across the structure. Gessati uses vertical bonding and Rigati uses horizontal bonding, while O24 applies a radial technique for a dynamic and visually expressive effect.
O24 has a substantial appearance but weighs only 50 kg. Smaller segments in the central section reduce the overall weight. Nero Marquinia marble forms the basin pedestal and adds depth and contrast to the collection's characteristic black-and-white palette.
O24 recalls a refined pinstripe suit with a restrained, elegant and timeless character. The design also incorporates recycled materials, reduced waste and environmental awareness. The basin combines advanced engineering, artisan craftsmanship and care for the environment.
