Souvenir d'Italie Outdoor Sofa

The two-seat outdoor sofa from the Souvenir d'Italie collection was designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. The sofa combines lightness with relaxed comfort. The spacious sofa features a simple design that interprets two outdoor furniture archetypes: metal and woven straps. Elastic polypropylene-fibre straps define the seat and backrest with filled and open areas, creating a light and transparent appearance. Cast aluminium support legs reinforce the lightness and make the sofa appear suspended above the ground. The load-bearing structure uses three longitudinal oval-section extruded aluminium beams that form an L shape and sit within the pattern created by the straps. The cushions take the form of large mattresses with pronounced piping that defines the cushion silhouettes. The cushions rest directly on the woven structure without concealing the structure. Two-layer draining polyurethane foam, developed specifically for outdoor furniture, provides the filling. The armrests use two cylinders supported by a slim metal structure combined with the cushions, creating the appearance of a garden bench. The sofa presents a relaxed and informal approach to outdoor comfort. The sofa suits gardens, pool areas, terraces or boat decks in residential and public spaces.
