Carpanese Home Betty Armchair
Giorgio Bonaguro designed the Betty armchair for Carpanese Home. Betty is a generously sized upholstered armchair. The wraparound backrest forms two comfortable armrests. Rounded shapes, highlighted by the curved wooden base, continue in the matching pouf from the same collection. The armchair and pouf create a setting defined by comfort and ease. The name references Betty Catroux, the muse of renowned couturier Yves Saint Laurent, and an ideal of effortless, timeless elegance beyond fashion.

Betty armchair technical information
The Carpanese Home Betty armchair and pouf use EPA-certified plywood, fir and hardboard. The upholstery includes open-cell polyurethane foam and Dacron layers, with a sprung system supported by elastic webbing. Curved elements use layered poplar plywood and ash-veneered fibreboard. Leather or fabric upholstery is available.
