Carpanese Home Bubble DX-SX Armchair

Matteo Zorzenoni designed Bubble for Carpanese Home. Bubble is a seating collection with soft, rounded lines inspired by the comfortable aesthetic of the 1970s. A single modular upholstered volume supports multiple configurations suited to the features and requirements of modern interiors. The collection includes seats with or without armrests in different sizes, poufs that work as standalone elements or connect corner sofas, chaise longues and comfortable armchairs with double backrests. The extensive selection of elements supports flexible solutions that can be reconfigured over time and across spaces. Bubble is available with a structural bent-wood base highlighted by its combination with upholstery fabrics, or without a base for a lighter profile that is also suitable for outdoor use. Bubble DX and Bubble SX are two compact armchairs with one right or left armrest. Each armchair has a sculptural presence and becomes functional when combined with other Bubble system modules.

Bubble DX-SX technical information

Bubble DX and Bubble SX are standalone armchairs or upholstered sofa modules with a right or left armrest, available with or without curves and with a wooden base. The frame uses certified EPA plywood, fir and fibreboard. Open-cell polyurethane foam and Dacron form the padding, while elastic webbing supports the sprung base. Curved elements use layers of beech veneered with ash. Legs use black-painted wood. Upholstery is available in leather or fabric.
