Carpanese Home Tachi C Console Table

Designed by Giorgio Bonaguro for Carpanese Home, Tachi C is a console table defined by organic forms and carefully balanced proportions. Tachi C emerged from the meeting of memory and a contemporary gesture. The design reinterprets selected Italian design archetypes from the late 1970s. The name recalls a long, curved Japanese sword, a symbol of dynamism, precision and controlled strength. These qualities become formal principles: continuous tension in the curved tabletop, a sense of impulse and balance, and a relationship between mass and lightness. The reference also appears in the metal shelf beneath the tabletop, a solid, luminous element that passes through the structure like a suspended blade. The Tachi collection includes two writing desks and a console. The collection combines classical references with a radically contemporary approach. The Tachi collection interprets the writing desk and console as settings for home and professional life, supporting concentration, movement and interaction with surrounding space and architecture.

Technical Information

The Carpanese Home Tachi C console table uses ash-veneered fibreboard and metal plates. The tabletop and legs feature ash veneer. The console table is available with a lower shelf made from metal sheet or upholstered in leather. The construction balances a substantial form with a luminous metal detail.
