Desiree

Desiree is an Italian brand of upholstered furniture, beds, rugs, storage systems and outdoor furniture. In a design culture that often seeks to impress through form, the Italian brand Désirée follows another path: creating pieces that engage the emotions.

Désirée builds the brand philosophy around the feeling of home as a place of comfort, harmony and inner calm rather than status. Désirée sofas, armchairs and beds become more than interior elements because the designs form part of everyday life.

Home Soft Home: a philosophy that changes the meaning of comfort

Founded in 1968 in the Veneto region and part of Gruppo Euromobil since 1995, Désirée has developed the Home Soft Home design concept. Home Soft Home is a furniture philosophy that balances comfort, aesthetics and emotional appeal rather than a marketing slogan.

Every Désirée piece begins with the idea of making home a space where people feel genuinely comfortable. The brand collections contain no accidental details because proportions, softened lines, material tactility and ergonomics receive careful consideration for lasting relevance and appeal. Désirée gives particular attention to production quality.

Every stage of furniture production takes place in Italy, and materials undergo strict quality control. Désirée also became one of the first upholstered-furniture manufacturers to introduce NFC technology for product identification and protection.

Designers and collections that define the brand

Désirée gains much of its distinct character through collaboration with renowned designers, with each designer bringing a personal view of contemporary luxury.

Key Désirée contributors include Marc Sadler, Tobia Scarpa, Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, along with the design duo Setsu & Shinobu Ito and the brand's art director Roberto Gobbo.

The recognisable Désirée collections include Lacoon, an iconic armchair by designer Jai Jalan that resembles a comfortable cocoon. The sculptural form makes Lacoon an independent art object within an interior.

Kara by Marc Sadler shows how technology can combine with exceptional comfort. The expressive silhouette and considered ergonomics have made Kara one of the brand's signature designs.

Shellon by Setsu & Shinobu Ito is a bed where soft architecture becomes the principal decorative element of the bedroom.

Rito by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez expresses contemporary minimalism, with visual lightness and clean lines concealing structural complexity. Every Désirée collection retains the brand's recognisable signature: emotional design without excessive display.

Désirée interiors: natural luxury in contemporary spaces

Désirée furniture rarely serves as the main focal point in the conventional sense. The brand's strength lies in shaping atmosphere. Désirée interiors balance architectural expression with the comfort of home.

Désirée sofas and armchairs work naturally in minimalist spaces and in layered interiors with rich material palettes. Désirée design does not seek to dominate the architecture of a room. Désirée design helps reveal the potential of the architecture by creating visual calm and a sense of completion.

Désirée furniture looks equally convincing in city apartments, country residences, boutique hotels and formal public spaces.

Désirée represents a contemporary Italian culture of comfort. The brand does not chase fashion or seek surprise for its own sake. Désirée creates pieces that become part of daily life while remaining relevant as trends change.

Désirée defines modern luxury through the ability to create a feeling of home rather than simply make an impression.
