Carpanese Home Brick D Chest of Drawers

Giorgio Bonaguro designed Brick D for Carpanese Home. Brick D is a chest of drawers with large storage modules arranged asymmetrically against the legs. The simple interaction of forms creates an appealing visual contrast and delivers a functional sculpture that defines different areas of the home, from living rooms to private bedrooms. Brick D comes with wooden drawers and a lacquered base or with a fully lacquered finish. Geometric, precise forms, gently rounded corners and exact surface finishing highlight the overall linear design. The Brick collection also includes a bedside table offered in two configurations: the first configuration is vertical, with the base and drawers forming two intersecting but offset blocks; the second configuration is horizontal, increasing only the volume of the base as a natural continuation of the previous module.

Technical Information

The chest of drawers is made of fiberboard and ash-veneered fiberboard. The chest is available with an ash drawer frame and lacquered base or with a lacquered drawer frame and lacquered base. The drawer sides and backs are made of blockboard veneered with Tanganika wood. The drawer bottoms are made of poplar plywood and finished with econubuk material. The drawers have full-extension, adjustable runners.
