Carpanese Home Erice D Chest of Drawers

Giorgio Bonaguro designed the Erice D chest of drawers for Carpanese Home in 2023. The Erice D chest of drawers expands a collection of coffee and console tables in varied shapes and sizes, developed a year earlier. Wide legs and tops with angled lines combine in an intentionally irregular composition. The same style continues through a solid wood structure and marble or wood tops. Geometric joints imitate cyclopean masonry, while the practical dimensions support everyday use. Layered materials create unexpected movement across the silhouette. Monolithic legs and substantial proportions give the Erice D chest of drawers a distinctly sculptural character.

Technical information

The Erice D chest of drawers has panels made from ash-veneered wood fibreboard. A concealed compartment sits behind the central leg. The chest of drawers is available with a 20 mm thick wood or marble top.
