Slow is a modular sofa designed by Simone Bonanni for Carpanese Home. Rounded elements feature spacious seats and curved backrests supported by open wooden or lacquered frames. The elements reflect the designer’s long-term research into graphic synthesis and refined forms, creating a statement that feels expressive yet restrained. Slow offers flexible compositions based on components designed for easy combination, supporting linear, island, open-corner and rectangular configurations for small and large spaces. Each element aligns with precise subtlety, resembling a still frame from a flowing dance, with every module following natural principles of balance and continuity. Slow materials include natural fabrics, leather and soft wool selected to complement the leg finish. Slow supports endless variations.

Slow Modular Sofa Technical Information

Slow is an upholstered modular sofa with back supports made from ash-veneered or lacquered fibreboard. The frame combines EPA-certified plywood, fir and hardboard. The filling uses open-cell polyurethane foam and Dacron wadding, while an elastic webbing spring system supports the seating. Metal connecting plates join the modules. Upholstery is available in leather or fabric.
